Hazelnut Butter

"My husband and I loved it!! It’s literally like eating a healthy Nutella!! I wish I could get a sponsorship with this company!!"

Diyana A. (5/5)

Chocolate hazelnut butter

"Very delicious creamy and smooth definitely recommend😊"

Mary D. (5/5)

"Delicious but FAR too expensive for the amount that you get. The jar is very small, I would say 1/3 of the size of the average peanut butter container. If it were $15 I’d buy it again but at $30, no."

Gillian (2/5)

So good

"I really love them the bites and hazelnut type spread. Kids actually are eating the spread. Will be ordering again."

Q&A

Frequently Asked Questions

Nut butter is high in fat and calories… is it healthy?
Nuts are a great source of monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats! Studies have shown that these fats are beneficial for cognitive health and development, glowing skin and healthy hair, reducing inflammation, and can help to lower the risk of heart disease (amongst a multitude of other functions in the body). So, while it is true that nuts are high in (healthy) fats and calorie-dense – this is good news. Nuts provide essential vitamins, minerals, and nutrients your body needs to stay healthy.
Are the nuts dry roasted or oil roasted?
All of the nuts used in our products are dry-roasted. Dry roasting means no oils have been added to the roasting process.
Does roasting nuts affect the nutrient profile?
A common misconception is that roasting will drastically change the nutritional profile of nuts. However, roasted and raw nuts have a very similar nutritional profile – with fat, carbohydrates and protein remaining almost unchanged. Because the roasting process removes water content and reduces the weight, roasted nuts have slightly more fat and calories per gram. We roast the nuts used in our nut butters at low temperatures also to ensure that healthy unsaturated fats, antioxidants, and micronutrients remain intact.
Why is chocolate hazelnut butter sweetened with medjool dates?
Swapping refined sugars for naturally sweet Medjool dates is our favourite way to satisfy cravings while nourishing the body with a nutrient-dense whole food. Medjool dates are rich in fiber (hello, blood sugar balance!) and contain beneficial antioxidants, vitamins and minerals.
Favourite hazelnut fun fact?!
The skin of hazelnuts is one of the best sources of polyphenolic compounds, which have 25 x the antioxidant capacity of blackberries, 10 x the antioxidant capacity of espresso!
