every year on July 1st, we announce our
indigenous business grant

grant purpose

The summer before nomz began, our founder Jana had the opportunity to spend the summer months with the Moose Cree First Nations in Moose Factory, Ontario. This was a transformative time filled with beauty, learning, and growth.

Walking away from her summer, Jana knew that she wanted to create something to give back to the people and places that inspired her during those summer months. The nomz grant is our way to say thank you to the Indigenous people of Canada for sharing this beautiful and precious land with us, and for sparking the inception of our company through the community's kindness, healing traditions, and nature's magic.

Join us on this journey of celebrating the spirit of entrepreneurship, honouring Indigenous communities, and creating a brighter future for all Canadians through The Philanthropic Community's Declaration of Action.
