Amazing

"First of all, finding organic macadamia nuts is so hard, but to find ORGANIC macadamia nut butter is amazing. This is so smooth and tasty. Sometimes I stir in a bit of sea salt and honey to my serving."

Absolutely amazing

"I am so surprised at how delicately good this butter is. I’m not a macadamia nut lover, but this blew me away. It’s perfectly creamy and the flavor is mild. I got a smaller size and have been soooning it away. Soon will have to get a larger one. Can’t wait to try the suggested macadamia matcha recipe. Thank you, Nomz, for making such a good nut butter. Great gift too"

Q&A

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I use macadamia nut butter?
Macadamia nut butter is delicious in smoothies, macadamia cookie dough bites, chia pudding, or our white chocolate macadamia butter cookies!
Does roasting nuts affect the nutrient profile?
A common misconception is that roasting will drastically change the nutritional profile of nuts. However, roasted and raw nuts have a very similar nutritional profile – with fat, carbohydrates and protein remaining almost unchanged. Because the roasting process removes water content and reduces the weight, roasted nuts have slightly more fat and calories per gram. We roast the nuts used in our nut butters at low temperatures also to ensure that healthy unsaturated fats, antioxidants, and micronutrients remain intact.
Are the nuts dry roasted or oil roasted?
All of the nuts used in our products are dry-roasted. Dry roasting means no oils have been added to the roasting process.
Nut butter is high in fat and calories… is it healthy?
Nuts are a great source of monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats! Studies have shown that these fats are beneficial for cognitive health and development, glowing skin and healthy hair, reducing inflammation, and can help to lower the risk of heart disease (amongst a multitude of other functions in the body). So, while it is true that nuts are high in (healthy) fats and calorie-dense – this is good news. Nuts provide essential vitamins, minerals, and nutrients your body needs to stay healthy.
Favourite macadamia fun fact?
Macadamia nuts grow on trees, but are picked from the ground when they fall after ripening! It can take a macadamia tree up to 8 years to produce nuts.
Peanut butter vs other kinds of nut butter... what's the difference?
Peanuts have a very high ratio of omega-6 polyunsaturated fats to omega-3, which can cause inflammation. Consuming a diet with a balance of 1:4 (omega 3: omega 6) is optimal! Peanuts also contain aflatoxin, which is a carcinogenic mould. As a brand focused on quality ingredients with nutritional value, we don't and will never use peanuts in any of our products. Almonds, hazelnuts, pistachio, and macadamia nust have a much better ratio of omega-3 and omega-6 fats. This is beneficial for cognitive health and development, healthy skin and hair, reducing inflammation and can help to lower the risk of heart disease.
