Why Make Your Own Salad Dressings

Store-bought salad dressings are often loaded with refined sugar or high fructose corn syrup. canola oil, and stabilizers. The good news is that it’s SO easy to make your own salad dressing at home. 

Ingredients you'll need to make a simple homemade salad dressing:

  • Lemon juice or apple cider vinegar
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Fresh garlic (optional)

How To Make This Green Goddess Superfood Dressing

The classic salad dressing ratio is 1 part “vinegar” (or lemon juice) to 3 parts oil + salt and pepper to taste. The same ratio can be followed for this dressing, with the addition of daily nourish superfood mix.

Ingredients

- ¼ cup lemon juice
- ¾ cup extra virgin olive oil
- 4 tablespoons daily nourish superfood mix
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt
- Pepper

Directions:

Option 1: Mix all of the ingredients together in a glass mason jar. Place the lid on the jar, and shake well until combined. Enjoy! 

Option 2: Mix all ingredients together in a high-speed blender. Blend on high for 1 minute. Blending will give the dressing a smooth, green consistency - as pictured in this blog post. Either way - it’s delicious!
