We thought we’d start with the most simple of the smoothies on our list. Our single ingredient almond butter combined with just two other ingredients and some ice makes for a perfect and elegant almond butter smoothie.

  • This really couldn’t get any more simple - put all the ingredients into a blender, and blend for 30 seconds
  • The more ice you add to the mix, the thicker your smoothie will be
  • Tip: taste the smoothie before you pour it from the blender into your glass - it will give you the chance to add more ingredients based on whether you like it thicker, thinner or sweeter

2.   Blueberry Almond Butter Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 sliced and frozen banana
  • ½ cup of frozen blueberries

  • ¾ cup of plain almond milk
  • 1 tbsp of chia seeds

  • Blend the banana, blueberries, almond butter, almond milk and chia seed until the mixture is a creamy texture
